The MNPS Series Micro Limit Switches are miniature snap-action switching devices in the micro switch format, designed for integration into appliance control systems, instrumentation, compact automation equipment, and machine elements where a small-footprint, directly mounted or PCB-compatible switch with reliable snap-action operation is required. Available in five variants — differentiated by actuator type and colour indicator options — the MNPS micro series delivers precise, reliable position sensing and mechanical switching in the most compact format in Esbee's limit switch range.

Micro switches occupy a different application domain from the industrial limit switch series: where full-size and mini limit switches are primarily used as externally mounted, cable-wired position sensors on machine structures, micro switches are used as internally integrated switching elements within equipment assemblies — mounted directly on PCBs, inside appliance housings, and within compact machine mechanisms where their small size allows them to be placed precisely at the point of actuation without the cable routing and external mounting that larger switches require.

The snap-action mechanism of the MNPS series is the defining characteristic of the micro switch — providing an instantaneous, definitive contact state transition at a precisely defined actuator travel point (the operating point), with a distinct reverse travel hysteresis that ensures the contact state is maintained until the actuator is deliberately returned past the reset point. This precise, repeatable operating and reset point performance makes the micro switch the correct choice for applications where the exact actuation position determines the functional correctness of the switching event — door closed/open detection, cam position confirmation, and limit position detection in precision mechanisms.

The 100D and 101D variants provide standard plunger and hinge lever actuation for the most common direct-depression and lever-operated micro switch applications. The 103C variant offers a different lever geometry for specific approach directions. The 100RD and 100GD variants add a colour LED indicator to the switch body — red for the RD variant and green for the GD variant — providing a visual confirmation of switch state that is immediately apparent on the PCB or assembly without additional indicator components, valuable in diagnostic and service applications where quick visual confirmation of switch activation is operationally useful.
