The Limit Switch Accessories range includes the MLPB Series Cap and the Door Limit Switch, providing protective and application-specific additions to the core Esbee limit switch range that extend its capability and protection for specialised installation requirements.
The MLPB Series Cap is a protective cover accessory designed for the MLPB mini limit switch series, providing a physical guard over the switch's actuator assembly to protect it from mechanical damage caused by adjacent machine elements, swarf, chips, and other industrial debris that could impact and damage the actuator in installations where the switch is in close proximity to machining or processing operations. The cap maintains the actuator's operating capability while shielding it from the physical environment — enabling mini limit switches to be used in more aggressive installation positions than the unguarded switch can accommodate. The cap does not impede normal actuator operation, allowing the cam or machine element to engage the actuator through the cap's designed aperture while the cap body deflects damaging contact from other directions.
The Door Limit Switch is a specialised limit switch variant configured specifically for door, hatch, access panel, and safety guard position sensing in industrial machinery, electrical enclosures, and safety interlock systems. Optimised for the actuation geometry of door frame and hinge positions, the Door Limit Switch provides reliable open/closed detection that is essential for machine guarding safety interlock circuits — ensuring that machinery cannot operate when access doors or panels are open, and that the safety circuit is restored correctly when the door is closed and latched. The Door Limit Switch is designed for straightforward installation in standard industrial enclosure door frames and machine guard door positions, with a mounting arrangement compatible with common door frame dimensions and the actuation force profile of typical industrial door closure mechanisms.
