Standard Base Plate Mounting for Direct Tower Light Installation on Flat Surfaces
The Base Mounting accessory provides the standard flat-surface installation solution for Esbee tower lights — enabling direct attachment to machine top panels, control cabinet tops, horizontal surfaces of production fixtures, and flat mounting plates with a clean, low-profile installation that positions the tower light securely and professionally on the mounting surface. The base plate mounting is the simplest and most common tower light installation method, used wherever a flat, drilled surface is available as the mounting datum.
Base mounting is the first-choice installation method for tower lights on machine control panels and cabinet tops, where the panel surface provides a stable, flat mounting datum and access to the panel interior allows the tower light's wiring to be routed directly through the panel to the control electronics below. The base plate is secured to the panel surface with fasteners, and the tower light column connects to the base plate through the standard column-to-base interface — creating a rigid, vibration-resistant installation that is the mechanical standard for machine tower light mounting.
The base plate footprint and fixing hole pattern are designed for compatibility with the 50 mm and 70 mm tower light formats, with fixing positions appropriate for the column diameter of each format. The base plate provides a stable foundation that prevents tower rocking and column movement under the lateral forces of machine vibration and incidental contact, maintaining the tower light's upright orientation and signal direction throughout the installation's service life.
