Product Description

Eight-Element Gen Next Control Stations for Multi-Function Machine and Pendant Control Applications

Variants covered: Flush Head and E Stop Push Buttons Station · Flush Head and E Stop with Hook Push Buttons Station

Gen Next 8 Push Button Stations are high-density, eight-element industrial control stations providing multiple flush head push buttons with an integrated emergency stop in a single compact Gen Next series enclosure — delivering the full range of machine control functions required for complex, multi-axis, or multi-function equipment from a single operator control station. Available in two variants — standard mounting and hook-provision mounting — the Gen Next 8 station is the platform for comprehensive machine control where the number of control inputs exceeds the capability of two and three-button stations.

The Flush Head and E Stop Push Buttons Station provides seven flush head push button elements and one mushroom head emergency stop in a single housing, enabling machines with multiple directional controls, mode selections, speed commands, and auxiliary functions to be operated from a single, organised control station. The eight-element layout accommodates the full control vocabulary of overhead crane pendants, multi-axis motion systems, complex conveyor installations, and production machinery with multiple operational modes — all from a station compact enough to be operator-held or bracket-mounted at the machine.

The configuration with seven flush head buttons and one emergency stop is a natural match for overhead crane control applications where the pendant must provide hoist up/down, bridge left/right, crab forward/back, and a horn or warning function alongside the mandatory emergency stop. The Gen Next 8 station's layout and Gen Next element quality make it directly applicable to crane pendant and industrial hoist control specifications — providing a Gen Next-platform alternative to dedicated crane pendant products for applications where the customer's control system uses standard Gen Next elements.

The Flush Head and E Stop with Hook variant adds an integrated suspension hook to the station body, enabling the 8-button station to be hung from a cable hook, crane hook, or overhead support when not being hand-held by the operator. This hanging provision is a practical feature for pendant-style control stations that are used in overhead crane and hoist applications — keeping the station at an accessible height for the operator when it is not in their hand, preventing the cable from being strained by the station weight resting on the floor, and ensuring the station is always ready to be picked up at the operator's position.

Gen Next platform consistency — snap-action contact blocks, flush head actuators rated for high-cycle operation, IP65 environmental sealing, and the compact modular housing architecture — is maintained across both 8-station variants, ensuring that the high-element-count station delivers the same quality control experience as the smaller station formats in the Gen Next range.
